This exciting workshop is all about the artist. We cover all aspects of the field of makeup artistry covering such topics as Marketing yourself in a competitive industry, How to build your portfolio, Makeup for runway, print, and television, On set etiquette, Building your working kit, On set hair, Bridal beauty, Cosmetic sanitation, Lash application, Highlighting and contouring, Corrective makeup, Makeup for all ethnicities, Color theory, Basic undertones of skin, and Product knowledge.

Learn to create such timeless looks such as the Italian film star, the ingénue, the Marilyn, the smoky eye, fantasy makeup, the rebel, abstract and many more.

Each day finishes with a photo shoot with top photographers to showcase all that you’ve learned while providing you with your first images for your portfolio. The finale of the workshop gives you hands on experience participating in a fashion show and/or production shoot.

Whether you are a beginner or are just looking to brush up on your skills then this is the workshop for you. Join us for 7 Saturday’s of intense learning and networking with local artists. Upon completion you will receive a certificate of attendance and will have the opportunity to intern with In Focus Studio or In Focus will use our vast network of resources to assist with job placement.

The price for each day of attendance is $100 with an additional $25 for lab fees. Lunch is included with the cost of admission as are all snacks and beverages.
